Owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, the Octopus is at present the seventh biggest superyacht in the world. This giant beauty measures 414 feet or about 126.18 meters, a very impressive size. The superyacht also boasts of two choppers on top of the deck — one in front and the other in the rear — as well as a 63-foot, which is about 19 meters, tender docked in the transom (one of the seven aboard the yacht).

As if that’s not enough, the Octopus also has a pool on one of the upper decks, and a couple of submarines. There are side hatches at the yacht’s water line that serve as jet ski dock.

The exterior of the yacht was the creation of Espen Oeino Naval Architects and built by Lurssen, a German shipbuilder (in Bremen) and HDW in Kiel. The hull of this awesome yacht is made of steel. The yacht’s interior was the creation of American designer Jonathan Barnett of Seattle.

Paul Allen owns two more yachts: the Tatoosh and the Meduse.
