The president and C.E.O. of Azimut is Paolo Vitelli. He started this business in 1969, and the first fiberglass motor-cruisers developed was the AZ43BALI, and it was an instant success. Azimut has 3 shipyards. Among the three are Aviligiana, Savona and Viareggio. Aviligiana is the head office, and it makes about 350 boats per year. The boats being made range from 39′ to 68′.
Azimut yachts sold more in Europe than anywhere else in the globe. They sold the least in Australia at about 4%. Here’s a chart of the Azimut share sales in different regions of the world.
- Europe=54%
- USA=26%
- Latin America=11%
- Middle East=5%
- Far East/Australia=4%
Azimut had 2 boat shows last year and 2 shows this year.
Azimut gives courtesy yachts for those who are suffering damages to their yacht. The service is guaranteed for all crafts between 39-80 ft under warranty. Owners must provide food and lodging for the captain.
I do wonder why they sold the least in Australia when Australia is a water traveling area. The people there are especially known for traveling and discovering the outdoor life… At least I thought so, because you see it on television. People of Australia is always doing something with nature including: fishing, hunting and discovering new things.

Their first shipyard started in Lemwerder on the banks of Wester in 1907. The founders of this shipyard was that of two gentlemen named George Abeking and Henry Rasmussen, and they’ve built more than 6,400 ships and boats. They still have a few classic yachts, however, they don’t sell them. They care for these vessels on daily bases today.
They decided to upgrade in the seventies when they’d started looking at different styles and trends for boats. They view yachts as a ship charged with emotion, and they consider them to be very personal. They also believe that yacht stand for a dream coming true, and I love how they think. They build their yachts to monitor the style and philosophy of it’s owner.
That is in every aspect quality service. To be so passionate about making a boat says a lot about what kind of service their customers will be getting and the feedback they will get from the customer.
According to the news on their site, they’d contracted their largest yacht ever before the 100th birthday of the German shipyard located near Bremen. This boat will be built according to Loyd Register of Shipping and MCA.
Features included:
- Low resistance for perfect seaworthiness
- Five deck with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure
- Speed 16.5 knots
- 6 guest cabins
- Cinema & Sauna
- 2 spacious mess areas
I’d love to ride on this yacht. The features are wonderful, and it sounds like this would be one of the world’s biggest yachts.

In my research, I’ve found that there are many school you can attend to learn how to build a yacht. I thought that this would be something totally different building cars and houses or anything like that. I thought that there would be only a couple or one designated place to go learn how to build yachts. I was wrong.
Among the schools that I’ve researched is that of Farr Yacht Design. This school can be located in some states in the US, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand and UK. This school offers undergraduate services, Graduate, vocational and continuing education services. The programs they offer is Naval Architechture, Marine Engineering and Yacht Design.

Do you ever wonder who is the world’s best yacht builder? In doing research on yachts, I often wonder who would be considered the world’s best yacht builder. How that be determined? Do they host contests every year or something?
If they were to find that out, they’d have to do something of that sort. You can’t just say someone is the best because they may not be. Among the best, I think that this man should be considered in contribution to yachts being built. His name is Chuck Paine, and his associates. They’ve been in business since 9174, and I’ve seen some of their work. It was said that they’d designed some of the world’s highest quality yachts.
Isn’t that nice to know? They should be getting business like crazy considering that they serve worldwide. They’re company is obviously internationally known, and they should be making a lot of money if they don’t. Rich people who don’t like to spend money but like to travel the water would like something like their designs. Yes, there are some rich people who don’t like to spend their money. It’s not like they’d miss it anyway. They’d probably use a small yacht for business purposes I’d think.

This designer has been in business for 30+ years. They are experienced in marine industries of New Zealand, Austria and Internationally. All of their work is computer generated so they can ensure that there will be no mistakes. If I was to have a yacht built, I may come to this designer because I want to be able to trust someone’s work and services. They’ve been in business for that long, and they have good services. Wouldn’t you trust them?
Among many of the Lidgard Yacht Designs is the 36ft Cruiser Racher Monohull yacht. This kind of yacht is the smallest of any yacht I’ve ever seen. Another example of their designs would be that of the 56 ft Cruising Monohull yacht. This yacht is a little bigger than the other one, but I think that this designer designs small yachts.
Smaller yachts have more advantage over bigger ones because they can sail faster. There are other designers that make similar models, but they give more quality to their work. Sometimes I wonder how someone could build something so big. I wonder about the cars and trucks too. How do they get everything put together from inside out. From top to bottom. That’s kind of amazing to think about. Wouldn’t you agree?

Going off what I know about yacht, I’d say that they are used for vacation purposes. Yachts are ideal for people who like to do a lot of traveling on the water, and you’d hear more about celebrities yachting more than anything. I’d like to know how far can someone really go in a yacht. I’ve read that people go to exotic places like Hawaii or Jamaica.
In my opinion, yachts are know especially for their sizes and quality. Some are bigger than others, and some have better quality than others. I’d like to think that some yachts are designed specifically for certain things and for certain people. One thing’s for sure, everybody can’t afford them.
You see celebrities on yachts more than anything because they can afford it. They get married on them and have social gatherings that they don’t want people to know about. That’s a good place to be too, if you want privacy. For a celebrity, they’d have to dodge all kinds of reporters and such.
A regular person that makes average or above average money may have problems with owning a yacht. Especially with things going on these days. You’d think it’s even hard for a rich person, but that’s a big laugh. A rich person isn’t worried about losing a few dollars on gas… Their rich!!!!Why would they worry about little chump change like that?
Whomever came up with the idea of building yachts was very smart. Yachts are just another way to get the rich man to spend some money. I think that’s really smart of the people or companies who started building them. We all know that boats go back a long way..Years even. They are nice to have, and you make a pretty penny when you sell them to the rich people.

I’ve seen some amazing yachts, but the mega yachts are very beautiful. They’re also very big in all measurements. When I think about how beautiful they are it makes me want to live on water, and I don’t do boats and the ocean.
Among some of the mega vessels I’ve seen are the Christina, the O’mega and the Seadream I. The accommodations of each are so wonderful that anyone would want to live in one. Don’t take my word for it. Have a look.
The Christina O

I love the wooded design of the furniture, and the bar to the left is smoking. I don’t drink, but this would be the perfect place to catch a buzz… Looking at these picture makes me feel like I can see further inside the picture. I feel like if I look any closer I will be inside the picture…LoL.

Talk about high quality!!!! I love the interior of this vessel, and every area is extremely spacious. It’s kinda like living in a mansion on the water. PURE LUXURY!!!! Even the deck is wide and spacious, and I’d love to have a few parties on this one. Check out the details on this vessel below.

The O’Mega

This O’Mega is very elegant in it’s interior. Like all the others, it is very spacious. The difference in some is that they have stairs like the o’mega. I love the wood finish and the design of the furniture. If I could afford it, I’d charter a Mega Yacht over all of the other ones. Here are some details on this vessel below.

The seadream I holds more people than the other vessels mentioned on this page, so it is the largest. I really like the pool on deck, and the chairs surrounding it. when I look at this picture, I just wish I was there.
I can’t make what these room areas are, but they are nice. This one has a unique design to it, and it would be good for a person of the simple type. This vessel can hold 110 people or more not including the crew. I’d say she is pretty nice looking in another sense.

A question has just peaked my interest. Are yachts made only for rich people? I see how much most of them cost, but after reading what I’ve read from an article on NZS.com I really think that this is true. How can a typical person of a low class status purchase a yacht? I don’t even think it’s possible.
In this article I’d read, a man by the name of Paul Allen owns a $200 million yacht. He employs a crew of 60, and it has two helicopters, seven boats, and a 10-man submarine that has the capacity to sleep eight for up to two weeks underwater. The cost to maintain this yacht is estimated to be $20 million!!!

I don’t know of anyone who could afford something like this. People barely can afford cars and houses these days. Yacht are good to have only if you’re rich. A high class person may be able to get their hands on a small yacht of some sort, but not one of this size and quality. You’d have to be making millions every month to afford something like this.
I don’t really like boats, and the cost of them make me almost hate them. I guess I’m really not a vehicle person at all because I don’t like cars either. I don’t even know anything about them except how to drive them. I will never be able to afford a boat, but I will we able to afford a car.

The Sovereign Yacht

Traveling the sea on this big baby would be like heaven. When I saw all of the feature of this yacht I wished I was already there. One thing I liked most about the features and accommodations was how big and spacious the rooms were. The interior of these yachts are amazing, and it took my breath away. Among the features are:
Bed Configuration: 1 King, 3 Queen, 4 Twins
Master Stateroom: On-deck
Forward: King Size bed, state-of-the-art entertainment system with 42” flat screen TV w/CD/DVD.
En-suite features his-and-hers bath with Jacuzzi tub, and separate shower. Abundant storage.

This is the interior’s living room area. This area looks as though it could fit up to 50+ people, and it’s perfect for hosting parties and social activities. The atmosphere appears to be very relaxing and soothing of the sort, but it also looks to be very elegant and business like.

I fell in love with this area of this yacht because the atmosphere is for somewhat of a family social event. The design is beautiful and this area makes it ideal for a vacation spot. Who wouldn’t love to live in this baby while indulging in the fine pleasures of life?

This is my second favorite feature of the whole yacht. I am a person who likes to dream and think, and this would be a great place for a person of my status. You could sit in this area and watch the sun set, enjoy slow, laid back music or just relax and dream. This area is also ideal for having a romantic dinner for two, or a double date. I’ve never double dated before, but there’s enough room here for that.
