240ft Silver by Hanseatic Marine

Espen Oeino, designer of the yacht named Silver by Hanseatic Marine, breaks successful ground when the super yacht was acknowledged as one of the finest in the world. Launched in 2007, Silver is purposely designed to be slim and narrow, unlike the recent trend of wide floor yachts.

The reason for such design is to give the craft more speed, among others. despite its 240-foot length, it can still reach a speed of 27 knots powered by two 16V-4000 MTU engines. The slender profile of the yacht also allows it to go where no other yacht its size can because of its narrow body. Further, the owner specified on environmental consciousness - as such, the vessel just had to be energy efficient as well.

The interior was done by Silverstrin of Munich, Germany. It is largely Italian inspired but with a touch of minimalism. It holds one master suite, 5 double accommodation rooms and 2 twins with a capacity to hold 18 guests and 16 crew members.
