The 77 Convertible has an incredibly wide beam in all areas, especially the mezzanine-based cockpit. This luxury yacht’s 192-square-foot cockpit offers two 65-inch fish boxes in the deck, in addition to an optional box in the transom.
The yacht’s mezzanine level has a 25 square feet of cushioned seating that improves visibility aft, coupled with modular drop-in units, allowing one to customize the location of freezers, storage tubs and optional baitwells.

Standard arrangement on the upper mezzanine deck includes a 10-cubic-foot freezer outboard. On the lower mezzanine level, two 20-gallon storage tubs are installed to starboard, with a third 20-gallon tub to port. A bait-and-tackle center with two stainless-lined tackle drawers is set to port, and within the steps are a large refrigerated drink box and wet storage compartments for mop heads and chamois.
The 77’s cockpit is finished to the highest level, thanks to side cockpit scuppers that drain discreetly through the quarter fenders and curved doors that hide the 100-amp retractable shore cords and quick disconnects for fresh and saltwater washdowns.

The new Hatteras 64 Convertible is an epitome of technology advancement in sportfishing convertibles, which, like its 54 and 68 Convertibles predecessors, offers several sophisticated features that include an advanced convex hull design for smooth ride and optimum performance, best-in-class specifications, high-tech solutions to propulsion and ship’s systems challenges, and spacious accommodations ideal for self-sustaining fishing in distant waters.
The 64 boasts of a forced air induction system that practically eliminates intrusion of saltwater into the engine compartment, and improved space outboard of the engines.

Within the propeller tunnels are trim tabs, mounted to achieve the same trim adjustment with only 30 percent of the surface area compared to those of more conventional designs.
And the advanced convex hull shape compliments its high horsepower engines, resulting in a smooth ride, peak performance and improved stability, while several patent-pending propulsion developments such as cylindrical shaft keys and crosscut bearings extend the yacht’s running gear life.
The new 64 offers accommodations unsurpassed for luxurious comfort. The 64’s standard 3/3 arrangement consists of three staterooms and three heads, with the only full-beam master stateroom in its size range. Throughout, the emphasis is on spacious and luxurious accommodations ideal for relaxation or entertaining. Thanks to its impressive design and innovative features, the new 64 Convertible raises the Hatteras Advantage to an entirely new level and redefines excellence in its class.

The Hatteras 68 Convertible Yacht features revolutionary approaches to cockpit and bridge design, as well as groundbreaking engine room and systems technology.
This great-looking yacht is built on solid fiberglass, convex hull with deep propeller tunnels. That having been said, the 68 is capable of speeds expected in today’s competitive tournament circuit. And thanks to its 21feet 6 inches beam the vessel will do so in style.

The 68 Convertible yacht is not only the largest yacht in its class, but it is technically superior as well. It is definitely worthwhile to mention its main advancements:
- Convex hull shape with bow flare. The 68’s hull shape features a “warped” bottom, which simply refers to a highly variable deadrise that flows from approximately 20 degrees in the midship sections to a nearly flat 2 degrees at the transom. The convexity of the bow reduces impact accelerations and contributes to an incredibly smooth head-sea ride. Double chines knock spray down and away, as does an exaggerated bow flare — the most flare seen in any Hatteras to date.
- Specially designed strakes that bisect the stagnation line — the point at which the water’s surface meets the hull bottom once on plane — provide additional dynamic lift, increased stability and improved tracking in all sea conditions.
- Deep propeller tunnels. Hatteras tunnels are significantly deeper than most, which reduces draft and allows larger propellers to be tucked in tighter to the hull. This reduces the amount of space needed between the tip of the blade and the hull bottom — often to as little as 6 percent of the blade diameter. That tight fit into the tunnel provides uniform containment around the blades, which eliminates the slapping of water against the hull that you typically get with a flat bottom. It also helps accelerate the water through the blades, much like a bullet through the barrel of a gun. Tunnel tabs. With the 68C, Hatteras is introducing a patent-pending trim tab design that is located within the propeller tunnel. The new tunnel trim-tab system utilizes the thrust energy of the tunnel for increased trim control. In a basic sense, it’s the marine version of a thrust nozzle. These tabs achieve the same trim adjustment with only 30 percent of the tab area.
- Running gear advancements. The 68 Convertible will debut several new patent-pending innovations. A new cylindrical keyway and key eliminates stress risers, leading to a significantly longer life for your shafts. New cross-cut bearings use crisscrossing grooves to disperse water and ensure a consistent film of lubricating water, giving longer life to your bearings and less noise while trolling or cruising.
- Stainless-steel rudders are far stronger and lighter than comparable bronze rudders.
- No hullside air vents. All air required for combustion is drawn from underneath the cockpit gunwales via ventilation fans. These fans reduce saltwater intrusion in the engine room, clean up the hullsides, and allow a quicker cooling of the engine room. The fans sense engine rpm and automatically adjust to draw in more or less air, based on the engines’ requirement.
Hatteras Yachts have always been at the forefront of yacht design, and the 68 an excellent example of that legacy.

This sailboat was built in Bodrum and first launched in 1986. She was originally intended as a German client’s private yacht.
Over the last six years however, and in the hands of her second owner, the yacht has undergone considerable modifications making her even more spacious and comfortable.

This yacht is totally built in oak and completely waterproof with all the epoxy coatings. In Bodrum, she ranks as one of the most beautiful yachts.
Refitted in 2003 and 2006, the boat has never been chartered again ever since. She is a rare and excellent example of the best wood construction.
Kavira’s design is unique. Thanks to a talented young interior designer that made her so. Seaworthy and comfortable, this boat is ideal for holidays, cruises or incentive events. Air conditionned in each cabin, Sony HIFI and DVD, Gaggenau kitchen, etc. — simply awesome!
